A series of photos from a recent shoot with a friend and suspension artist, Jeff the Sadist (movingmind on Fetlife). Featured here is one of the models that attended, Lizzy, strung up and perched on one leg. Turned out to be a great group to work with and a lot of fun. More from the shoot to follow.

Looking back, a lot of things sure have changed in my life since starting this blog and certainly my approach to it has changed, as well; probably even more so.
There was a time that I would update the site at least once, usually twice a day. Typically, recycling something of interest from my the sites I would haunt at the time and occasionally offering up words and/or images of my personal endeavors, particularly with respect to BDSM. A theme that that was central to this space for so long was the relationship I had with another blogger… a blog I helped build after taking away another one. That seems so long ago.
Absent one central focus of the site, I expanded my interest from sharing my love of other artists’ erotic photography to creating my own and not just the visuals that I would capture in my personal life. In the process I made some friends (and probably a couple of enemies). A stylish and prolific fetish photographer from across the pond in France provided much inspiration and positive feedback. A southern man that moved out to the great Northwest and turned part mad scientist, medieval torturer and sadomasochistic philosopher (he certainly shares a unique view of the world through his blog) befriended me and we’ve shared various travails that we’ve encountered along our recent paths. I’ve met some really nice models, like Candle, above, Addie, Kobe and the others that were really a joy to work with while figuring out what the fuck I was doing with a camera and lights. I met a few cool folks locally that are also pursuing their work behind the camera and I’ve shown my work a couple of times, thanks to Jsin of Secretroom.net.
Not sure when I’ll be shooting again, but I beginning to feel the creative pangs to do so. This will be a busy Spring for me, but it holds a lot of promise. I’m enjoyed beginning to update the site again. I’m certainly not changing the world for the better, but I think it’s good to get in the habit of creating something, in the expectation that the desire to create something more, whatever that is, will not follow far behind.
To all the folks that were around for much of this sites more active days, thanks for hanging around. For those that are new, feel free to search around, follow the links on the right and look for more updates to follow.

I received a comment on the last post from The Shackler, a local gentlemen that I was fortunate enough to strike up a friendship with. He has an extensive restraint collection and, in addition to loaning me pieces to use in some of my shoots, actually taught me quite a lot about various types of metal restraints and their history, which lead to me acquiring some pieces of my own. The image above is a shoot with Paris Kennedy featuring one of his Martin’s Rigid Fiddles. Just wanted to say thanks, again, for the use of the equipment, knowledge and friendship.

Just pulling out select images from prior shoots. This was from my first shoot with an established fetish model. Kobe was a good sport, allowing herself to be nailed down to the board atop my cage. She had to hold her head up when I was hammering the nails in, because of the reverberation through the board. She had a healthy appetite to stay in the position and keep being pushed over the edge until she was bucking and cumming in her restraints. That’s why her leg is straight. It was originally nailed down like the other. Fun shoot.

A couple of images I hadn’t published before. These are from my first shoot with Addie and 2nd shoot overall with a fetish model – July ‘08.

Here are those handy wrist and ankle stocks used in a different manner than in the other recent post featuring them.

It’s a new year and I’m making a new start on the blog, after over a year of not updating it and often times leaving it in disrepair. My portfolio site is still screwed up, with respect to connecting to the database that drives it. I’ll work on that later, but wanted to start here with something first. Several months ago, I did a shoot with an aspiring bondage model, which I’ve published sparingly. So, I’ll begin again by sharing these. Hope you enjoy them.

I certainly want to pass along the model credit. I didn’t email her prior to this post to confirm her preferred credit/contact method, but here’s her fetlife profile. Looks like she’s now in the San Francisco area with her Dom. Very nice couple, by the way.
Happy New Year…

OK. I couldn’t leave the blog deconstructed. It’s been compromised and neglected for long enough, so I’ve started from the beginning, or close to it, and restored many of the posts, but am still filling in pieces here and there.
